A star among young classical musicians, concert organist Nathan J. Laube has quickly earned a place among the organ world’s elite performers. His brilliant playing and gracious demeanor have thrilled audiences across the United States and in Europe, and his creative programming of repertoire spanning five centuries, including his own virtuoso transcriptions of orchestral works, have earned high praise from critics and peers alike. Nathan earned his Bachelor of Music Degree at the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia, where he studied organ with Alan Morrison. He further studied organ with Michel Bouvard and Jan Willem Jansen at the Conservatoire de Toulouse. In June 2013 he received Master’s Degree in Organ Performance from the Musikhochschule in Stuttgart, Germany where he has been pursuing organ studies with Ludger Lohmann. Most recently he was awarded the “Stipendium des Bundespräsidenten” at the 2012 Felix Mendelssohn Preis in Berlin, which also included a performance in the Berlin Konzerthaus. In addition, Nathan won First Place at the National Albert Schweitzer Organ Competition in September 2004. In 2013 he joined the faculty of The Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York as Assistant Professor of Organ, where he teaches together with distinguished Professors David Higgs and Edoardo Bellotti.
Zvijezda među mladim glazbenicima, koncertni orguljaš Nathan J. Laube vrlo je brzo zauzeo mjesto među vrhunskim interpretima orguljaške scene. Njegovo virtuozno, kao i graciozno muziciranje oduševljava publiku diljem SAD i Europe, a kreativnost u izboru repertoara u rasponu od pet stoljeća, koji uključuje i vlastite virtuozne transkripcije orkestralnih djela, donosi velike pohvale kritičara i kolega. Nakon studija orgulja s Alanom Morrisonom na Institutu Curtis u Philadelphiji, nastavlja studij orgulja s Michelom Bouvardom i Janom Willemom Jansenom na Konzervatoriju u Toulouseu. 2013. g. magistrira orgulje na Visokoj glazbenoj školi u Stuttgartu u klasi Ludgera Lohmanna. Primio je više nagrada, među kojima Felix-Mendelssohn-Preis u Berlinu (2012.), što mu je osiguralo i nastup u berlinskom Konzerthaus, te je osvojio 1. mjesto na nacionalnom orguljaškom natjecanju Albert Schweitzer (2004.).
